What Is an HD Live Ultrasound?
HD live ultrasound, also known as 5D ultrasound, adds lifelike depth and realism to traditional 3D scans. It uses light and shadow to give more natural-looking images, showing clearer facial features, body movement, and even expressions in real time. You’ll see your baby yawn, stretch, or move, right there on screen.

Early Pregnancy Scans (from 6 Weeks)
​We offer reassurance scans from six weeks onwards. These are ideal if you want peace of mind in the early stages. You’ll see the heartbeat and can confirm how far along you are.
Gender Scans (from 16 Weeks)
​We can tell you your baby’s gender from 16 weeks using clear HD technology. We always double-check accuracy and give you the option to keep it a surprise in a sealed envelope.
HD Live Bonding Scans (24 to 34 Weeks)
This is the best time to see your baby’s face and movements. The HD live technology brings these moments to life with incredible clarity. Many families choose this scan to bond with their baby and get keepsake images and videos.
Growth and Wellbeing Scans
If you want to check on baby’s position, size, and movements, we offer growth scans. These are useful if you want reassurance between hospital appointments.
Heartbeat Bears and Keepsakes
We offer heartbeat bears where we record your baby’s heartbeat into a soft toy. We also provide printed photos and USBs with video clips.
​When Should You Book a Scan?
Here’s a general timeline to guide you:

6–11 weeks: Early scan for heartbeat and dates

12–16 weeks: Gender scan possible (best from week 16)

24–34 weeks: Best time for HD bonding scan

35–40 weeks: Late scan available, though image clarity may be reduced
Booking earlier in each window gives you better images and more clarity.
What Will You See During an HD Live Scan?
It depends on how far along you are. Earlier scans focus on heartbeat and movement. From 24 weeks, facial features become clear. At 28–32 weeks, baby has more fat under the skin, giving fuller, more defined images. You might see:
