Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scans in Roscommon
We offer early scans from 6 to 15 weeks. These help confirm a pregnancy, check the heartbeat, and estimate your due date. We understand early pregnancy can bring worry. That’s why we provide clear answers with no fuss. Our 2D scans show the gestational sac, yolk sac and foetal pole clearly on screen.

Appointments are unhurried, and we make time for any questions. The scan takes around 10-15 minutes, and results are explained straight after.
Wellbeing Scans for Peace of Mind
After the first trimester, many parents want to check how things are going. Our wellbeing scan is available from 16 weeks onwards and checks on:

We use 2D imaging to provide clear, live feedback. You’ll see your baby on screen while we talk you through what we’re checking. We also offer printed scan photos to take home.
​Gender Reveal Scans from 18 Weeks
If you want to know your baby’s gender, we offer a gender scan from 18 weeks. This scan checks for growth and confirms the baby's sex, provided baby is in a suitable position. If not, we offer a free rescan at a later date.
You’re welcome to bring a partner or family member along. We keep the session quiet and focused, but we also make it special. Many parents choose to keep the result secret until their gender reveal event. We can note the result for you privately.
What to Expect at Your Scan
From the moment you arrive, we make the process easy. Our scan room is private and quiet. You’ll be asked to lie back while gel is applied to your stomach. The sonographer will then move the probe gently over your abdomen to capture live images.
During the scan, we explain everything we see. You’re not left guessing. At the end, we’ll go over the results and answer any questions. We give printed images and a short report to take with you.
The whole appointment usually takes 20–30 minutes.
